Vintage Glass and Silver Metal Door Handle Shift Knob

This vintage glass door knob would make an excellent shift knob. These glass knobs have a fresh and elegant look that's never out of style. First offered in the 1850s, their popularity peaked at the turn of the century.

The glass portion of the knob measures 2.05 inches across, and the knob is 2.38 inches tall. The knob weighs in at 5.8 ounces (163.5 grams). The glass and silver-colored metal base have both been polished, but as seen in the photos, the life of this knob shows.
