Vintage number 5 clay billiard ball, or pool ball, circa early 20th century (1920s or 1930s is our best guess). Despite the surface crackling in the photos, these balls are stout and solid. The ball can be drilled to your orientation preference: Bottom Drilled or Side Drilled. When bottom-drilled, the pool ball number sticks straight up. When side-drilled, the ball is drilled between the numbers, allowing both numbers to show left and right.
