Glass and Brass Vintage Octagonal Door Handle Shift Knob

This vintage octagonal glass and brass beauty was a door knob would make an excellent shift knob. Crystal clear octagonal glass knobs have a fresh and elegant look that's never out of style. First offered in the 1850s, their popularity peaked at the turn of the century.

The octagon measures 2.10 inches across, and the knob is 2.30 inches tall. The knob weighs in at 6.9 ounces (195 grams). The glass and brass have both been polished, but as seen in the photos, the life of this knob shows.

► This knob is threaded 3/8-16 and will thread right onto a 3/8-16 shift handle and is kept in place with an integral set screw (included). A Jam nut will also be provided. Other sizes will require a Door Handle to Shift Knob Adapter Kit.
