This is a door knob from a time long ago when they made things out of actual brass and not pot metal with hyper-thin plating. The diameter of the ball is 2.07", and the overall height is 2.38". The wall of the ball is .12" (3mm) and is pretty weighty at 7.5 ounces (213 grams). These are the heftiest brass door knobs we've seen to date.
The mounting shaft is .75" with a set screw. We'll prepare an aluminum sleeve threaded to your specifications at no additional cost.
